My name is Carol Harrisville Young, and I’ve done a myriad of things in my life. In addition to raising two wonderful children who have embarked on their own adventures, I’ve been a museum curator, lifeguard, janitor, supermarket checker, potato-chip factory worker, archaeologist, fossil primate bone collector, anthropology teacher, web programmer, T-shirt painter, horseback riding instructor, veterinary nurse, blogger, and web content writer. My husband and I share our home in New Mexico with three goofy dogs, three demanding cats, and three wonderful horses. My passions have always been travel, reading, and writing, and I’m setting out on a new journey writing works of young adult fiction.
